Summer rugby kicked off at the Stags in spectacular fashion on Saturday with outstanding results.

The Hemel Stags Blue U16's carried on from where they left off in the pre-season 9's by overwhelming Elmbridge Eagles 38-6 - despite the Stags having Max Allen and Christian Grint in the England Youth Training Camp and Adam Jolly and Max Morphy on duty with London Broncos Scholarship team against Warrington Wolves. Hemel Stags Gold U16's had a Bye.

THe Under 13's travelled to the New River Stadium for a 9.30am kick off against London Skolars but swept the home team aside with a smashing 68-34 win - Mason Cameron-Hart clocking a record 7 tries.

The Under 14's fixture at Medway Dragons was postponed at the request of the home club.

Earlier on in the day, the newly re-launched Hemel Stags Minis had another bumper turnout for Community Manager Shane Hurley in preparation for their first Festival at Pennine Way on Saturday 27 April.

Meanwhile, the Stags' Southern Conference League senior side have increased the intensity of their pre-season training and hope to be able to announce a pre-season fixture for next weekend.
