12th May 2019

It was a mixed weekend for the Stags in various competitions.

Saturday started well when a 57 seater coach containing Minis and Under 14's players and parents  departed Pennine Way for a Rugby League Festival at Colchester hosted by Eastern Rhinos. The Minis continued their considerable progress and did will against the three other clubs - Rhinos, Brixton Bulls and Medway Dragons.

The Under's 14's fixture against the Rhinos ebbed and flowed thoughout the match and looked set for a draw until a last second breakway try be the hosts clinched victory by 26-22. Competition leaders Hemel Stags Golds U16's travelled to bottom club Rutlish Raiders in West London and paid for fielding un understrenth team by losing narrowly 28-26. Hemel U13's had little difficulty accounting for Elmbrige Eagles 54-14 at Pennine Way

Finally both the Hemel Stags Blue U16's fixture against St Albans and the Southern Conference Clash against Brixton Bulls were postponed with the latter likely to be played on 13th July.
